SAN MIGUEL CATHOLIC CHURCH
I WAS AN ALTAR BOY IN THIS CHURCH FROM THE FOURTH THROUGH THE SIXTH GRADES. FATHER STANLEY WAS MY FAVORITE PRIEST AND THE ONLY PRIEST I KNEW WITH A DOG, A GERMAN SHEPHERD AND AS I REMEMBER WHEN FATHER STANLEY WENT IN THE CHAPLIN CORPS THE DOG
BECAME A WAR DOG.
IN TIMES OF THOUGHT WHEN I WAS IN THE SERVICE I USED TO THINK ABOUT THE CHURCH AND
THE SCHOOL (MT CARMEL) AND HOPED THAT I WOULD GET TO SEE THEM AGAIN, AND SAN MIGUEL IS FOREVER IN MY THOUGHTS.
