When I was a lad, even into my teens, Socorro County was most proud of its County Courthouse. It was by far the most beautiful in design and out side suited the lay of the land to its best. The interior was well maintained and especially clean as I understand that a couple of judges threatened stir time if it got dirty.

I do understand that the design was an award winner. the picture is on a penny post card from one of the Old Print Companies.
